Short Take: MS posts second Steelhead beta

Microsoft has posted a second beta of its remote access and routing software for Windows NT, code-named Steelhead. Steelhead will let users dial into the server over a wide area network. The software is set to debut this summer as an add-on to NT. The second beta includes a more intuitive interface and connectivity improvements and is available now from the company's Web site.
