Short Take: Montgomery Ward unit uses Vantive suite

A&E Signature Service, the product services division of Montgomery Ward, is rolling out Vantive's Web-enabled software to connect the company to its major appliance, consumer electronic, and lawn and garden customers. The software suite, called Vantive Enterprise, automates sales, marketing, customer service, and support. The software is expected to support more than 6 million customers a year, with more than 2,000 call center and field service associates using the system.
