Short Take: MITAC, Novita development agreement

MITAC of New York City and Novita announced a joint development agreement to produce Java-enabled Internet appliances. MITAC will manufacture and market the hardware while Novita will supply Java-based application software. Novita's first product, called Novita Mail, is a Java-based client email software application for Internet appliances. Users add audio, graphics, video, 3D, links, and Java applets into the body of an email message.
