Short Take: MidWest Micro cuts PC prices

MidWest Micro cut desktop prices up to 13 percent. The price of a PRW-266 Workstation PC with a 266-MHz Pentium II, 64MB of memory, a 6.4GB hard drive, and a 15-inch monitor was reduced from $1,485 to $1,289. The PRH-300 Multimedia Pro PC, featuring a 300-MHz Pentium II, 32MB of memory, and a 4.3GB hard drive, was reduced from $2,199 to $1,979. The latter system also includes a DVD drive and a 17-inch monitor.
