BackWeb Technologies announced that Microsoft is bundling BackWeb's push technology in two intranet and extranet solutions designed for small businesses. BackWeb's technology will be used to disseminate information in such forms as Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations. Microsoft will include BackWeb's Polite Agent file transfer manager with Microsoft's ASAE (American Society of Association Executives) Technology Alliance Program and Franchise Extranet Solution.
