Short Take: Micronics financial horizon bleak

Micronics Computers reported a net loss of $4.4 million, or 31 cents per share, for the September quarter, compared with a net loss of $11.4 million, or 82 cents per share, a year earlier. Net sales for the quarter plummeted, primarily due to a decline in sales in the OEM and government markets. Micronics said it does not believe it will regain profitability until the latter half of the current fiscal year, if at all.
