Short Take: MediaOne Express to become Road Runner

MediaOne Express, the high-speed Internet access service of cable television operator MediaOne Group, will announce this week that it will soon begin transitioning its name and interface to Road Runner, according to executives. The Road Runner cable modem service is a joint venture between MediaOne and Time Warner, but the two cable operators have marketed their Net access under different names until now. The transition will occur over the next two months.
