Revenue was $47.3 million, up 85 percent from $25.6 million reported in the same period a year ago. Net income, excluding acquisition-related expenses taken in the third quarter of 1995, increased 73 percent to $12.9 million, or 24 cents per share, from $7.5 million or 15 cents per share for the same period a year ago.
