Short Take: Macworld Expo gets a new name

Macworld Expo has changed the name of its East Coast show to Macworld Expo + Creative World. The name change for the show, which will run from July 8 to July 10 at New York's Javitz Center, was driven by the same issues that prompted its relocation this year from Boston. Macworld said the change is designed to reflect a focus on new markets and opportunities in Silicon Alley, ranging from content-creation to Web publishing.
