Search engine Lycos is partnering with Korean Internet service provider LG InterNet to launch Lycos Korea. Lycos will provide search and navigation technology to the partnership, while LG InterNet will oversee local content aggregation, sales and marketing, and administration in Seoul. The deal comes on the heels of Lycos purchasing online community Tripod for $58 million in stock.
