Short Take: Lotus ships new version of Domino for IBM S/390's Parallel Enterprise Server

IBM's Lotus Development subsidiary has shipped a version of Lotus Domino for the IBM S/390's Parallel Enterprise Server. Customers can use S/390's systems-management functions to consolidate Domino servers and workload onto an S/390 mainframe, reducing management costs and complexity, according to IBM. The S/390 server architecture can automatically shift other applications to available Domino processors to increase computer resources. The Domino S/390 bundle is priced at $16,250, including one year of maintenance services.
