Short Take: Lonely Planet launches Handspring module

Travel publisher Lonely Planet has launched Lonely Planet CitySync USA, its first Springboard module for Visor handheld organizers. CitySync is Lonely Planet's first series of digital city guides for handheld devices. The CitySync module comes preloaded with guides to New York City, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Purchasers will receive a fifth CitySync city of their choice to load on their Visor handheld when registering the product online. The module, which costs $49.99, is available at PalmGear HQ or Lonely Planet.
