Short Take: Live Web, TV simulcast to feature "Star Trek" vets

A live, "radio-style" adaptation of H.G. Wells's novel The First Men in the Moon will be simulcast November 2 on television on the Sci-Fi Channel and on the Web at The Dominion. The program, which stars Star Trek veterans Leonard Nimoy and John de Lancie, is part of the annual SciFi.Con event. Fans will need RealNetworks' RealPlayer 4.0 (or later) plug-in to view the performance online, scheduled for 5 p.m. PT.
