Lexmark International announced record third-quarter net earnings of $41 million, or 54 cents per share, on revenues of $618 million. Last year, net income was 40 cents, while revenue was $548 million. The company attributed the improved results to strong customer acceptance of recent printer product introductions and the contribution of the associated supplies business, as well as effective management of product costs and operating expenses.
