Short Take: Launch forms music group

Launch Media has created an Online Music Group (OMG) to consolidate music sites on the Web and to offer fans the ability to find all genres of music in one location. Launch will purchase the advertising inventory of all OMG participating sites, and its own sales force will sell the aggregated advertising. Launch said that cross-marketing and promotions should increase traffic to all OMG members.
