The Korean government will sue the U.S. through the World Trade Organization in order to remove sanctions imposed over Korean chip dumping, according to a report in the Maeil Business Newspaper. The U.S. has maintained punitive measures against Korea since 1993, when LG Semicon and Hyundai Electronics were accused of dumping DRAM chips in the U.S. market, says the report.
