Kiwi Computer announced a notebook powered by Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Intel mobile microprocessors. The OpenNote 780 uses Intel chips ranging up to a 233-MHz MMX Pentium, or 200-MHz and 233-MHz AMD K6 chips. Other features include a 5GB removable hard drive and a removable CD-ROM drive. The displays are 12.1 or 13.3 inches. Street prices will range from $1,500 to $3,500.
