IT consulting firm Keane has announced a new business unit called Keane Interactive, which will provide clients with Web design, Web development, and deployment and management of Web-based products including e-commerce capabilities and interactive advertising. Net consulting firm Jamison/Gold, which was acquired by Keane last June, will now become Keane Interactive, the Boston-based firm said. In other news, manufacturing giant 3M named Keane Interactive its preferred vendor.
