Short Take: Japan gets search engine

Japan will get its own search engine courtesy of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) and Inktomi, creator of HotBot. The Japanese search engine is known as Goo and will feature English-to-Japanese translation capability. Goo will launch March 27.
