Short Take: IVI Publishing names MSNBC exec chief

IVI Publishing announced that Robert Goodman, head of business development for MSNBC on the Internet, has been named the company's president and chief executive officer and has also been appointed to the company's Board of Directors. Goodman previously held various legal and management positions at 3DO, NeXT, and MIPS Computer Systems, and helped develop MSNBC's distribution relationships with WebTV, Yahoo, Infoseek, and AT&T WorldNet, among others.
