Short Take: ISP stocks hit record highs

Stock in business Internet service providers (ISPs) PSINet and Verio both closed at a 52-week high. PSINet finished at 42.25, an increase of more than 20 percent, after ING Barings Furman Selz upgraded the stock's rating to a "buy" from "hold." Verio stock closed at 48.125, a jump of 31 percent. Verio shares have traded as high as 43 in the past year and have been on the rise since a Web hosting deal with America Online was announced last week.
