Short Take: Iridium names new CFO

, the beleaguered global satellite phone company that saw its chief executive and chief financial officer resign within a span of a month, has named a new CFO. The Iridium board of directors elected Leo Mondale, a senior vice president at Iridium, to the role of CFO. The company also named Sue Kennedy vice president of marketing and sales, an area many critics have said Iridium needs to improve. Iridium has yet to name a new full-time CEO.
