Intuit posted flat profits and
revenues in the second quarter, in line with analysts' expectations. The
financial software company reported profits of $47 million for the
quarter, excluding a gain on the sale of discontinued operations, compared
with profits of $46.4 million posted a year ago. Revenues based on
continuing operations reached $237.5 million for the quarter, down 3
percent from a year ago.
