Short Take: InterWorld, Commerce One in B2B deal
InterWorld and Commerce One announced a new marketing and technology alliance to support business-to-business trading through Commerce One MarketSite Global Trading Portal, the U.S. portal for exchanging goods and services among businesses worldwide. Under the terms of the deal, InterWorld's Commerce Exchange technology will provide suppliers with access to Commerce One MarketSite, as well as other Internet portals on the Commerce One Global Trading Web. The new venture will go live in the second quarter of the year.
