Short Take: InterScan VirusWall works with HP-UX

Trend Micro announced its InterScan VirusWall virus protection software works with Hewlett-Packard's Unix operating system, HP-UX, the first virus protection for this platform, the company said. The software scans email attachments, HTTP files, and FTP traffic for viruses. InterScan is installed directly on the HP-UX gateway machine or on a proxy server, and requires no additional hardware. It ships next month for $1,495 for a 50-user license and includes one year of free virus pattern updates.
