Short Take: Intermedia.net to launch 'control panel'

Intermedia.net, a Microsoft-based shared Web hosting firm and application service provider (ASP), is set to launch a new Web-based service offering customers control of their software and services. The so-called 'control panel,' called Host Pilot, provides a Web-based interface for small businesses to access their services from Intermedia.net. The company is expected to unveil the service at the Spring Internet World conference.
