Semiconductor giant Intel has invested an undisclosed sum in PassCall Advanced Technologies, a Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) technology that allows Web content to be viewed on Internet-ready cell phones even when the Web site hasn't customized its content for mobile handsets. Intel Capital, the chipmakers venture capital funding unit, made the investment in the Israeli start-up.
