Short Take: Intel, C&T merger complete

Intel announced the completion of its merger with Chips & Technologies, which now will become an Intel wholly owned subsidiary and part of the chip giant's Graphics Component Division. Last month, the Federal Trade Commission decided not to block the $420 million acquisition, but said it plans to continue its investigation of the acquisition as part of a broader inquiry into antitrust concerns involving Intel.
