Short Take: Inktomi names additions to boards

Inktomi, developer of scalable network applications, announced that Alan Shugart, founder and CEO of Seagate Technology, has been named a member of its board of directors. The company also announced that Justin Rattner, an Intel fellow and the director of Intel's Server Architecture Laboratory, will join the Inktomi technical advisory board. Shugart also founded Shugart Associates, the company that invented the floppy disc.
