Short Take: Informix named in class-action suit

Informix investors have brought a class-action suit alleging that the company and its officers misled them about its financial health during the class period October 16, 1996 to April 1, 1997. The officers are charged with artificially inflating the price of Informix stock and taking advantage of the inflated price to sell more than $5.6 million of their personal holdings in the company.
