Short Take: Inaugural Web Site a big hit

The presidential inauguration proved a point that's becoming increasingly evident: Netizens are political animals. The Inaugural Web Site, featuring a live Webcast courtesy of Sun Microsystems, was so crowded that many reported trouble getting onto the site during the day. The site allowed for 5,000 simultaneous audio and video feeds; they apparently were all in use much of the time.
