Short Take: IIG enters online info services

Individual Investor Group (IIG), publisher of Individual Investor Magazine, which has a circulation of 500,000, and Individual Investor Online announced that it has acquired the assets of InsiderTrader.com, a distributor independent financial research. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. IIG said InsiderTrader compliments its line of products and marks its first foray into paid subscription-based online information services. IIG expects to introduce other paid subscription-based online information services over the next 12 months.
