Short Take: IBM to launch new portal

IBM is set to unveil a new portal dubbed the Enterprise Information Portal, available later this month, that will allow business users to build customized features that will include search capabilities across multiple data sources such as Lotus Notes and other files. The portal will support its recently announced Raven software initiative, which aims at managing files from diverse sources.
