Hewlett-Packard announced its goal to raise personal computer sales in the Asia-Pacific region by 35 percent each year over the next three years, according to a Reuters report. The company will seek that growth for all segments, including desktop, servers, and portables. The company's larger goal is to become one of the top three sellers in the corporate notebook market by the year 2000. HP is currently fifth with a four percent market share, according to International Data Corporation.
