Hewlett-Packard announced it will integrate its desktop management suite, called the HP OpenView Desktop Administrator, with its TopTools performance monitoring software. TopTools can be used to boot up PCs during off hours, allowing Desktop Administrator to distribute software, for example. The integrated HP OpenView Desktop Administrator/TopTools software is scheduled to ship next month.
