Short Take: HP expands Ford deal
Hewlett-Packard has expanded its contract to operate and maintain more than 1,000 of Ford's computer systems, HP said today. HP had been running Ford's intranet, but the two companies signed a five-year deal on April 27 extending the agreement to cover all of Ford's servers as well. The companies declined to say how much the deal was worth, but a source familiar with the deal valued it at more than $100 million for HP.
