Short Take: HP cuts prices on AdvanceStack hardware

Hewlett-Packard announced a series of prices cuts of up to 30 percent on some of its AdvanceStack networking hardware. The company's 800T switch now carries a list price of $2,199 for an 8-port autosensing 10 to 100-mbps model. A 16-port low-end 10-mbps shared hub now is list-priced at $419, or $26 per port, a 19 percent reduction.
