Hitachi released a new line
of Pentium-powered notebooks aimed at small and medium businesses. The
VisionBook Series 5000 are powered by 166-MHz and 233-MHz Pentium MMX
processors and come with 16MB and 32MB of memory, respectively. Both models come with 12.1-inch screens. The 166-MHz version costs $1,699, while the 233-MHz models
will go for $2,299.
