Short Take: Hasbro launches doll community, e-commerce site

Just in time for the holidays, Hasbro has teamed with online auctioneer eBay to launch a new collector service that enables users to chat via Tripod about the toymaker's line of action figures. Hasbro's service helps users build collector-related Web sites while encouraging the building of an online doll-collecting community. Visitors to the site also can purchase Hasbro dolls such as Batman, G.I. Joe, and Action Man.
