EDI software vendor Harbinger has completed its purchase of a minority interest in its Harbinger NET Services subsidiary. Harbinger paid roughly $7.2 million for the 30 percent interest formerly held by BellSouth Telecommunications and other minority shareholders. Separately, XcelleNet completed its acquisition of systems integrator Electronic Commerce for $2.68 million in cash and stock. XcelleNet markets remote-access software with advanced system-management capabilities.
