Short Take: Global Crossing, Intel invest in Tornado

As previously reported, Global Crossing, Intel and venture capital firms Ares Management and QuestMark Partners invested $28 million in Tornado Development, a unified messaging firm. Tornado said it plans to use the financing to add sales, marketing and engineering staff and to expand its unified messaging technology development.
