Short Take: GFN names new president, expands coverage

Financial information and services Web site the Gay Financial Network has named Jeffrey Newman its president. Senior vice president of the firm since September, Newman will start publishing on a daily basis on January 25, launching a section on insurance at the same time. The company plans a redesign in March and an initial public offering in August.
