Short Take: Geneva IP treaties online

As promised by the World Intellectual Property Organization, copies of the international copyright treaties signed December 20 in Geneva are now posted online. The treaties were approved by delegates to the recent copyright convention in Geneva to provide protection for digital intellectual property. Treaty 1 extends current international law to digital literature and artistic work. Treaty II applies copyright protection to digital music or sounds.
