Short Take: FusionOne gets $50 million in funding

FusionOne, an Internet synchronization service, nabbed a $50 million third round of funding today led by Chase Capital Partners and Flatiron Partners. Hewlett-Packard and several investment banks, among others, also invested. Earlier, investors 3Com, Nokia Ventures and El Dorado Ventures contributed again. FusionOne's service allows users to synchronize their desktop applications, such as email and calendar, with their wireless devices via the Internet.
