Short Take: Free software utility for PowerBooks

Apple Computer announced a free software utility for PowerBook computers called Apple Location Manager. It allows users to move from one location to another without having to manually reconfigure their computer with every move. The user assigns settings for a variety of capabilities and the system recognizes the user's preferences for that environment. Location Manager is expected to ship on all 1400-series PowerBooks in early February when Mac OS 7.6. is slated to ship.
