Short Take: Former Smith Barney banker accused of spamming

The former Smith Barney investment banker who had become whistle-blower against the firm was charged with using spam to harass executives there, Bloomberg reported. Michael Lissack, arrested in New York, was accused of sending spam in which he allegedly used phony causes, such as helping out a cancer victim, to appeal to recipients to contact company executives at their home and work phone numbers and addresses.
