Gift Web site Flooz.com said it has raised $27 million in second-round financing from investors including NBC, NextCard and Oak Investment Partners. New York-based Flooz.com is the maker of "Flooz currency," which can be used to buy a range of products online. The company is pitching its currency as an alternative to credit cards, which are currently the Net's most used form of payment.
