Short Take: Firm launches child-safe browser versions

BrowseSafe has launched PlanetGood, customized versions of Netscape's and Microsoft's browsers that prevent Net users from visiting "objectionable" Web sites. BrowseSafe reviews the sites that are accessible via PlanetGood. PlanetGood's sites are broken into settings for children under age 10, ages 11 to 16, and over age 16. Profanity, violent content, pornography, chat rooms, and newsgroups are blocked from all of the three modes.
