Short Take: FCC postpones action on wireless ownership cap

Wireless providers will have to wait to see if the Federal Communications Commission will modify or lift restrictions on how much airwaves they can own in a given market. In possibly its last act before the new administration takes over, the FCC declined in a biennial review of its rules to act on the matter, instead saying it would start a separate proceeding to draft new rules later this year.
