Arachnid Software has begun shipping its WebPower 1.0 security software for extranets. The product's permission-based security lets companies give their suppliers, business partners, and customers limited access to corporate documents stored behind firewalls. The software was developed using Oracle's Network Computing Architecture. It works with NCs and PCs and will run on all platforms that support Oracle software, the company said.
